FAQs

Frequently Asked Questions

  • You get personal care from a highly trained doctor in integrative medicine. You can easily contact them via email or video call. Prices are lower than what most doctors charge, and this kind of service and attention is not offered through most traditional practices.

  • We will mainly suggest natural remedies, such as herbs and supplements, that don't need a prescription. If you are already using prescription medications, we will include them in your treatment plan.

  • We won't prescribe GLP-1s or weight loss medications because insurance companies make it hard to get them approved. Currently we don't have the resources to handle the prior authorizations that most weight loss medications need.

  • Dr. Patel is board certified in Family Medicine, enabling her to care for all ages with health issues. She supports children, adults, and seniors, and also helps women during pregnancy and after childbirth or menopause.

  • Dr. Patel speaks English, Gujarati, Spanish and Hindi. If you speak another language we can provide interpreting services during the consultation.

  • We currently do not accept insurance including Medicare/Medicaid because it is difficult to get reimbursements from insurance companies. Additionally, insurance companies do not recognize integrative medicine as a specialty and do not provide coverage for it.

  • We accept Venmo for payment right now. We will send you a payment link before your appointment.
